As you’ll notice on the estate, our various vineyards have different gradients, soil types and aspects (the direction a slope faces). All of these factors influence the amount of water, sun, wind and minerals the vines will receive – which in turn influence the aromas and flavours in the glass.

Over the generations, we’ve identified which varietals work best with each vineyard, each terroir, each micro-climate. And we know exactly what to plant where, to coax the most delicate nuances from the grapes.
